Tragedy can cause drastic measures in not only our thinking but in our actions and then if the Holy Spirit has His way, we commit our way to the Lord. As we put our trust in Him our thinking clears. God tells us (“Trust in the Lord and do good.”) Janel Dawn in her sorrow before she died, several weeks before actually, wrote, “God is good, good is God” I love when the scriptures talk about the dawn because it reminds me of our precious 💓 daughter, (“He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn”) Janel’s wise words also prompting us. “Find that Brightness! Learn and understand!” I wish I could have been there for her during her troubled times. I would have hugged her and told her it was gonna be alright. That Jesus knew her sorrow and it was for her sorrows and ours that He died. Not just for our sorrows but for our sin. But I wasn’t there. I was in a different city without a clue of her pain and abuse and loss she was experiencing.

“The justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun.”. “Who is this Who shines like the dawn—As beautiful as the moon. Bright as the sun, Awe inspiring as an army with banners?”
Yes it was the good God that met Janel at a time of great grief and loss. It was the Lord Jesus prompting her to live, not die, to move forward. Giving her not only words of hope and honor for the Lord Jesus but prompting each of us through her words to “Find that Brightness and learn and understand and have faith that Jesus Christ will be with you”
